Grinding
Superabrasive grinding wheels and discs have been developed for a multitude of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, glass, natural and synthetic stone and concrete. To suit the variety of applications and materials, these grinding wheels predominantly use three bond types: resin, vitreous and metal bond, including electroplated bonds and NDP supply abrasives for all three types as part of their standard product range.
For all non ferrous materials such as ceramics and glass, diamond would be the abrasive of choice and for grinding tools using grits down to 500/600 US mesh, the SynMesh range would be selected.
SynMesh MBH for metal and vitreous bonds, SynMesh RBP for resin bonds.
For the finer grinding applications, the SynMic range of products would be used.
SynMic 2 and 6 for metal bond, SynMic RBH for resin bond.

cBNMesh: from cBNMesh GPR7, probably the highest strength CBN in the market today, to the relatively friable cBNMesh R2 we can supply cBN in a range of sizes, shapes and strengths and with a range of coatings to suit every ferrous grinding application.
